Our Installation Process

Regardless of which paver brand we install, the base preparation is what determines how long your patio or driveway lasts. Every Genest project we build starts with full excavation, a minimum 8-inch compacted gravel base, proper drainage pitch away from the house, edge restraint, and polymeric sand in the joints. In areas with clay soil or poor drainage, we go deeper on the base and add perimeter drainage.

We work directly with Genest and local supply yards to make sure we get the right product, the right color batch, and enough material on site before we start. Nothing slows a project down like waiting for a pallet that is on backorder.
